Brand print ad reflection

I believe the logo did a pretty good job in the ad. It matched the overall theme and looked like it belonged with everything else going on. The moon inside the word glow is a nice touch it makes you think of nighttime and calming skin care. Which fits the idea of the product that helps your skin feel refreshed and new. The stars in the background also helped bring that nighttime dreamy vibe together so the logo worked well with the whole aesthetic.  However  the logo could’ve stood out a little more because it kind of blends into the background and doesn’t really grab the persons attention. Maybe if I made the text bolder or giving it a different color it could have helped it pop more. Yes doing the brand research definitely helped when making this ad. Before designing it I thought a lot about what kind of message I wanted to send and who my target audience was. I knew I wanted to create a skin care product that feels calming refreshing and trustworthy, so I picked soft colors like light blue added stars and a moon to give a relaxing nighttime feeling. That theme wouldn’t have come through as clearly if I didn’t plan it out during research. Yes I do see brand values in this ad. When I created pure glow I wanted it to be a brand that helps people feel good about themselves. I wanted it to be soft, and clean the ad shows that really well. The light blue background and the yellow stars make it more peaceful and adds on to the logo like I mentioned before. Like in the ad it talks about how the cream helps with dry skin, improve texture, and removes makeup. And that matches my goal of helping people take care of their skin in a simple healthy way. I still like my logo but I believe I would change a few small things. I like the moon as a O in the word glow because it makes it different and gives it a soft, night time feeling. That fits my brand so I would keep that part. But in the ad the logo doesn’t stand out a lot. Its kind of small and doesn’t grab your attention in the right way. But therefore I wouldn’t change my logo fully but I would make the font stronger and make it more clear in the in the ad so it can grab your attention just a few little changes.
